A new attendee at recent Panthers sessions has been French-speaking South African Oscar Moussima, who is playing the sport for the first time.
Although Oscar does speak a little English, the team have been using an interpreter, thanks to sponsor Cash for Kids, from whom we received funding last year for new sports wheelchairs (which has allowed us to form a second team).
The team have already overcome the language barrier with deaf Spanish player, Julio, who recently made his first start in a super league game against Warrington.
